Anyway, its going to be in 3-D, which is fucking awesome and maybe a little frightning since, well, 3-D movies are directed at kids generally and it would be easy to push the Hobbit to be more of a kids movie or more of an adult movie, whichever way they felt like going, so its probably going to be kids.
The real news is that New Line is going to convert the Trilogy to 3-D for 2012 to 2014 releases. Fucking rocking.

CG is not 3-D. 3-D is glasses. Blue and Red. It pops out of the screen. Like Captain Nemo. 3-D, not 2-D rendered to look 3-D. Why would they go back and redo three LOTR movies in CG?
beowulf is in 3D. ask chitwood he saw it in a 3d theatre. i'm not an idiot. i know the difference
i will look up the 3d thing even though i heard chitwood say he saw it I don't think it was intended to be a 3d movie everywhere. also, yes you are.
